This song is pretty simple and came together fairly quickly one afternoon in January. I recorded this demo on garage band with a midi keyboard for bass and organ. The drums are sampled from YouTube and overdriven to sound almost industrial. It’s very new but I feel like most all of the pieces are there so I’ve already started tracking this song in the studio for an upcoming album. Lyrically the song deals with themes of self isolation, egomania, denial, social anxiety, dependence, love and rent.
