I had a dream where a choir was singing that chorus and it followed me into the next day, so when I got to work I tried to just put that simple melody down over a sampled drum beat to see what I could build around it. I had this ole poem laying about from a trip to visit friends in Boulder, CO last year, it felt sort of appropriate and fit the theme of the chorus so I squeezed it in the verses.

I'm not sure what will ever become of this song but all of a sudden, one day I was compelled to make it. Maybe someday it'll make it to the choir, maybe it'll just live here for a while.
