I recorded this track on a slow day at work a couple weeks back. I made it on GarageBand using an acoustic guitar, a midi keyboard and a drum sample.

Lyrically, Great Barriers is a recollection of a conversation between two characters. The subject being Sue, a confident, edgy, street wise amateur philosopher with a penchant for stoicism, and the narrator, a scared and anxious diary keeping sentimentalist who needs help seeing past his own pain.
