I recorded this song on GarageBand when we had Stefanie's piano in the living room and on a day everybody was gone sometime last April. I recorded it within the hour that I had come up with the idea and the vibe was to keep hope and hold onto the notion that things will fall into their own place over time. I'm not sure if this will ever be a Pearl Earl song or make it to my own solo recording project but it was something that at least got documented and was nice to make because it gave me some sort of peace. I eventually would write different lyrics and would add synths, guitar and drums but really only see them fitting at the end of the song when the change gets upbeat. I thought the song didn't really call for much in the beginning but find just using piano and bass to be oddly bare so I would force myself to figure out other parts for it, if or when I decide to make it more than a demo.
