I started writing this song around 2004. I played the crap out of it for years and it never felt right. In 2010, I began working on my solo record and this was one of the tunes I knew I wanted on it no matter how long it took me to get it down. This version is one of the first demos I made using new verse chords for the song that eventually ended up on The Viper Sessions. ​
