I recorded this song on my computer in a garage on 26th St. in Lubbock, TX. I played the drumbeat all in one take and spent the next two hours writing the guitar riff over it. It felt epic to me at the time, but I couldn't quite come up with lyrics. I had been reading the first Swamp Thing book at the time, so I just used it for inspiration.
